Ora... - 1921 - present - "Started in Chicago by Oreste Agnini, and Ralph Singer. Initially the company was known as Agnini & Singer. Early pieces are unmarked". Beautifully designed jewelry from the 1920's and 1930's". In the 1940's the business became known as ORA designs, and ORA is in business today under a different ownership.

Pell... - 1941 - present - "This New York company is still in production. Know for some elegant designed rhinestone brooches in the 1950's".

Pennino... - 1926 - 1966 - "Three Pennino brothers were the sons of an Italian goldsmith who brought their talents to the jewelry business in New York City". Known for designing some of the most beautiful and rare pieces of jewelry". The finest materials were used including rhodium-plated metal.

H. Pomerantz... "Produced belt buckles, buttons, and jewelry from the 19th century...as early as the 1840s... to the 1940s. Early pieces are scarce".

Providence Stock Company: "First listed in the Providence directories in 1890. The last listing was found in 1950. An advertisement of 1904 says "Our Specialities are: in gold filled, vest, Dickens, Pony, Fob, Waldemar, duke of Marlborough, Lorgnette, Muff, Purse and Neck Chains, Ptd., Marguerite Extending Bracelets, and Chain Bracelets; in 10 k solid gold, Lockets, Brooches, Scarf Pins, Pendants and buttons, and in sterling silver, Chain Bracelets, Ptd., Friendship Hearts, and small novelties. Their jewelry was top quality and holds up well over the years".

Rebajes... - 1934 - 1967 - "He was in the U.S.A. ....Before returing to his native Spain in 1967. He designed beautiful Modernist jewelry in his New York studio. Later he used creating unusual, dramatic pieces there until his death in 1990. His used copper....His jewelry is hand-crafted, unique, highly collectible".

Renoir...Also know as Matisse... - 1946 - 1964 - "Los Angeles company started by Jerry Fels in 1946, Renoir is known for solid copper jewelry. new division, Matisse, was added in 1952 to market enamelled jewelry".

Robert... Original by Robert... - 1942 - 1979 - "This mark used by Fashioncraft Jewelry Company. The firm was founded in New York City by Robert Levey, David Jaffe, and Irving Landsman" . The name changed to Robert Originals about 1960.

Nettie Rosenstein... - Early 1935 - 1975 - "Nettie Rosenstein's career began in 1927 in millinery. Her jewelry pieces are excellent quality".

Rousseau... - Circa 1950's - " Rousseau was a French fashion designer who also produced a very limited amount of jewelry.

Sarah Coventry... - 1949 - 1984 - "Mostly sold at home jewelry parties, Coventry is an interesting piece of American business history". They did not design or manufacture their own jewelry. Some pieces were made by DeLizza and Elster.

Schreiner... - 1939 - 1973 - Unique and distinctive jewelry designed with art glass cabochons, inverted-set rhinestones, and unusual color combinations. Produced in very limited quantities.

Selro/Selini... - 1950's - 1960's - Selro's "face jewelry" comes to mind when they hear the name. Selini was introduced as a different line by Selro in the 1960's.

Sperry... - 1947 - ?? - "Sperry Manufacturing Company of Providence, R. I., at least until the 1960's. Sperry also sold jewelry under the name "Tara"...
