Hand Written Letter or Note: Dated, Nov. 4, 1849 ~ Lexington letter by Bathsheba Whitman at age 72 to Mrs. Mitchell. Stating she is giving her a specimen of her work. Lovely penmanship. Letter and sample in good vintage condition. Specimen case measures approx. 3.0" wide by 2.0" wide by 3/8" thick. Letter is approx. almost 8.0" wide by 5.0" high.
