This gorgeous carved CLAM is Antique circa 1930s or 1940s. It is fashioned from Celluloid which has been made to look like ivory and as such was called French Ivory. Great shape with simulated ivory striations and aged color to celluloid. Antique Collectible with lovely details including the people, animals, boat, large tree in front of their home in a village setting inside the Clam.
