Vintage China Head Pincushion Doll

This is a beautiful old china head half doll or pincushion doll. She has curly light brownish-blonde hair, blue eyes with eyelashes, red lips and lightly blushed cheeks. She is hand-painted and has hand sewn fabric (pin cushion).

She is styled after a head that was made in Germany in the late 1800's and early 1900's but we can not tell if this one is marked? It is probably from the 1920's or 30's.

Pin cushion measures about 3-1/2" high and about 2-3/4" diameter across the pin cushion base (does not include the pleated outside fabric). This piece is in very good condition with minimal wear and no cracks or other damage. It does not look as if it has been used.

We think this might be the original round box she came in but not sure.
